Acts of Random Kindness (ARK) Gala

On November 13th, World Kindness Day, KIND launched a new and exciting “nation
building initiative” called the ‘Acts of Random Kindness’ (ARK), whereby we are
to encouraging children, teenagers and young adults in particular, and all citizens in
general engage in Acts of Random Kindness to complete strangers and, to share these
experiences on Social Media via Facebook and Instagram using our #Acts of Random
Kindness.

The aim of the ARK is to firstly develop a widespread culture of sharing and giving,
and to change our national conversation in order to get young people to use social
media as an outlet for positive inspiration, rather than the many negatives that
pervade them presently.

We intend to keep the excitement going by recognizing the most thoughtful/original
posts on a regular basis which will culminate with the nomination of a Kindness
Ambassador who will then be publicly recognized at our upcoming Gala!

KIND's Health Care Fair 2019

​The KIND Health Care Fair is a day-long event for kids ages 5-17.  It is designed to promote healthy lifestyles in children from a young age. The event will include health screenings, demos, information sessions, an aerobics/ Zumba session, fun activities, lots of giveaways and more. Service providers on the day include NADAAP,  the T&T Red Cross, Min. of Health Food and Nutrition Unit,  Precision Fitness, as well as opticians, dentists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

KIND's Summer 2019 Vacation Camp

What's the best way to start your child's Summer vacation? By sending them to KIND's Summer Vacation Camp program! From July 8th - 30th, KIND's Vacation Camp participants will engage in a number of holistic, educational, informative and fun events including fun & interactive classes, art & craft, outdoor activities and a field trip.

KIND Flood Relief

On Friday 19th and Saturday 20th October, 2018, Trinidad and Tobago was gravely affected by floods. Communities across Trinidad such as Oropune Gardens were evacuated as homes and vehicles were flooded and many areas were inaccessible. KIND was instrumental in leading efforts to mobilise financial resources and relief supplies to affected families, communities and organisations including the Trinidad and Tobago Association for Differently Abled Persons. We joined hands with organisations including CPL, Coastal Dynamics Ltd, the Mahjong Group, A.A. Laquis Ltd and Dunross Prepatory School to provide critical items for affected families including mattresses, food hampers, clothing, baby supplies and a medical mattress for a paraplegic flood victim.

KIND Booth at Trincity Mall

We visited Trincity Mall to raise awareness about KIND’s work. The Kindness Caravan allows the public to have face-to-face meetings with the KIND team, volunteers and the children and families we support. It also provides a forum for debate and discussion.​

KIND's Christmas 2017 Vacation Camp
